Robert "Robbie" Bashford Burmister (b. August 30, 1874 - d. April 21, 1945) with his mother, Margaret "Maggie" Foreman Bashford Burmister (b. June 8, 1850 - d. July 28, 1917). Margaret married Robert Henry Burmister on October 7,1873. Robert was a successful merchant in Prescott, Arizona. They had 2 more children, Howard Coles Burmister (b. Sept. 7, 1880 - d. 1956) and Helen F. Burmister (b. May 8, 1886 - d. 1974).

Handwriting on back of photo reads: Mrs. Burmister and Robbie 1877, Mrs. R. Burmister and Robert Jr. aged 3, 1877.

Burial of Robert: Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, San Mateo County, California.

Burial of Margaret: Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland, California
