Description

Dr. Henry A. Hough was born on September 9, 1889 in Granada, Kansas to Washington and Florilla Thompson Hough. He was a US Army Sergeant during World War I. He received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Physicians and Surgeons. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Buffalo, Illinois and the Shrine in Springfield, Illinois. He moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1927. Dr. Hough practiced medicine, specializing in ophthalmology, in Prescott from 1940 until his retirement in 1951. He died on August 18, 1956 and is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery. His obituary stated that he was survived by his wife, Verna of Prescott and sisters Clara Smith, Lora Hough and Lela Hough, all of Topeka, Kansas.
