For more than twenty years, Bonnie has produced television documentaries for KTSP-TV (Channel Ten), Phoenix. She is probably best known for two long-running documentary series: Copperstate Cavalcade, and On the Arizona Road. The Copperstate Cavalcade series ran on prime time for ten years, covering all aspects of Arizona history. It is still used by school systems throughout the state. The second series, On the Arizona Road, is still running on Channel Ten. Along with other news and documentary specials, Bonnie has been involved in the Chronicle Ten series, which explores current Arizona issues.

Bonnie's work has been nominated for three Emmys and she is the recipient of countless regional and local awards. Focusing, in a gentle and entertaining way, on the many different aspects of Arizona's history, Bonnie has more than met the criterion of making a "valuable contribution to the understanding and awareness of Arizona and its history."
