Dr. Winston James "Jim" Nethery (b. May 19, 1936 - ) lived at Fort Whipple Veterans Administration (VA) Center campus in Prescott, Arizona as a young boy between 1942 and 1946. His father was the only navy medical officer stationed at the Whipple VA Center during World War II (WWII). Jim was born in China and has lived in California, Oregon, the United Kingdom and Texas as well as Arizona. He and his wife, Joyce (right) have raised five children, and have seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
 

Jim currently is retired in Temescal Valley, California, after having specialized in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthetics for over 40 years, treating patients with head and neck cancer. He graduated in 1965 from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). In 1968, he completed a residency in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute. Jim served the community as the president of the Orange County American Cancer Society and as the president of the California Division of the American Cancer Society. He is the past President of the Clan Graham Society, having held this position from 2012 to 2017. He enjoys history and has written articles about Scottish and Clan Graham history.
