Cora Elizabeth Weaver (b. 1869 - d. 1934) was born on April 26, 1869 in Prescott. She was the daughter of Caroline Elizabeth Weaver, born in 1850 in Missouri, and Benjamin H. Weaver, born in 1837 in Michigan. Benjamin Weaver owned the Arizona Miner, the first newspaper published in northern Arizona.
Cora married Anthony Arthur "Tony" Johns (b. 1864 - d. 1944) on March 31, 1892 in Prescott. Anthony was an attorney, long-time President of the Arizona Wool Growers' Association and a member of the Arizona Legislature. As such he was involved with and supported Sharlot Hall's efforts to buy the Territorial Governor's Mansion with the intent to preserve the building and use it as a museum. They had no children.
Handwriting on photograph reads: "Cora Weaver Johns."
Cora died on June 15, 1934 in Prescott. She was cremated and the location of her ashes are unknown although they may possibly be buried at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
