View of the Bowers Ranch, Dewey, Arizona.
The house was built by King Woolsey in 1863 using stones from an old ruin on the site for his ranch-site in Dewey and sold to Nathan Bowers, who filed a homestead on the land in 1871. Bowers later sold it to a mining company in 1902. The house burned in 1897, but the stone portion survives to the present day (2021).
