Description

Frank E. Andrews, Prescott Fire Chief.

Staffing for the original Prescott Fire Department was comprised of four volunteer companies: Toughs, Dudes, O.K.s, and Mechanics Hooks and Ladders.

In 1890, Andrews served as Prescott chief of police and became heavily involved in the community. The following years found him assuming the position of fire chief, as well as being elected to the Prescott City Council.
