Description

These are the farm and ranch buildings at the Fred Harvey Dairy Farm and Ranch near Del Rio Springs in Arizona.

The Fred Harvey dairy farm and ranch was located near Del Rio Springs, which is today near the town of Chino Valley, Arizona. This farm and ranch supplied the various Fred Harvey hotels and resturants along the railroad line in Arizona such at El Tovar at the south rim of the Grand Canyon. This ranch aldo pastured the mules that were used in the Grand Canyon. In 1910, the the Santa Fe Railroad bought the entire 3520 ranch.
