Rose Abell (Truax) Martin (b. 1862 - d. 1946) was born on the Maxwell Grant in New Mexico on September 20, 1862. She was married first to Harlan C. Thompson and then to William John “Jack” Martin (b. 1854 - d. 1925), a mining engineer in Congress, Crown King and other mining districts. Rose Martin lived at 617 West Gurley Street, and passed away on May 12, 1946 from heart disease, according to her death certificate.
