James Miles, Jr. (b. 1854 - d. 1888) was the son of James H. Miles, born in Ireland in 1817 and Johanna McCue, born in Ireland in 1836.
Handwriting on back of photograph reads: "James Miles came to Prescott in early seventies. Wrote back to his parents to come on out to God's country. They came in 1875. That letter is in your library."
He died on January 17, 1888 in Los Angeles, California.
Burial in Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
