Easy Rider was one of the most successful and influential films of its era, and spawned a legion of "counterculture" imitations. The plot involved two "hippie" motorcyclists and the trials they face riding across America. Scenes were filmed at a variety of Northern Arizona locations, and the film turned Jack Nicholson into a big star.
Left to right in this still: Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson, and Peter Fonda.
