Miss Hatton (b.? - d.?) was the sister of Annie (Hatton) Dillon (Mrs. Joseph Dillon). Her parents were John H. and Elizabeth (Youree) Hatton. Annie's husband, Joseph, was a 50-year Arizona resident, whose career carried him from being a Yavapai County Deputy Sheriff through several positions to become purchasing agent for the State Highway Department and a personal friend of Governor George W. P. Hunt, first governor of Arizona. Joseph was known as the "Uncle Joe" of the Phoenix state house.
