Caption on photo: A group of the Navajos - a few of the 10,000 who appear in Paramount's "The Vanishing American", made during a four months' filming siege on the Navajo Indian Reservation. The whites in this photograph, left to right, are Mrs. Jack Moore, Lucien Hubbard, who wrote the scenario from Zane Grey's novel, and Mrs. George Crook, assistant director. The man kneeling is Jack Moore who had charge of several hundred horses. Richard Dix, Lois Wilson, Noah Beeryy and Malcolm McGregor are featured players in "The Vanishing American."
