The Right Reverand Monsignor Quetu (b. around 1864 - d. September 30, 1934) was born in Lilli, France. Msgr. Quetu was sent to Silver City, New Mexico, in 1886 and a few months later to Prescott, Arizona where he remained until he resigned his pastorate in 1908. In 1896 he organized the Prescott Hospital and Sanatorium Corporation. He was instrumental in the establishment of Prescott, Arizona's Sacred Heart Church and Jerome, Arizona's Catholic Church. From Prescott, he went to San Juan Capistrano, California and then to Carthage in Africa. He died in Carthage, Africa. Note on the back of the photograph states: "The red beard was allowed by special dispensation because of a throat scar (illness)"
