Description

The monument at the entrance to the Pioneer Cemetery in Ehrenberg. The monument was erected by the Arizona Highway Department in 1934. The cemetery was first used in about 1862 and its last burial was in 1988.

Back of photograph reads: "Monument at Ehrenberg, Ariz. spurs, guns, branding irons, etc., cemented into base of monument. Ehrenberg was an old settlement just across the Colorado from Blythe."
