Description

Augusta (b. 1881 – d.?) and Johanna (b. 1870 – d. 1889) Radczewsky were born in California. Johanna was the eldest daughter who died at age 19 in 1889. The 1880 Yavapai County census showed the Radczewsky family to be comprised of: Jacob, husband, a blacksmith, and Johanna, wife, keeping house, both from Prussia. The five children listed, all daughters, were all born in California: Johanna, age 10; Eliza "Lizzie", age 9; Augusta, age 8; Matilda "Tillie", age 7 and Minnie, age 3. By the time of Johanna's death, the mother was a widow. Another daughter, Laura, died on May 29, 1895 at the age of 14. The family lived on South McCormick Street, Prescott, Arizona.
