Sidney Randolph DeLong (b. 1828 - d. 1914) was a Civil War veteran and was the first elected mayor of Tucson, Arizona in 1871 for a one-year term. DeLong Street in Tucson and DeLong Peak in the Santa Catalina Mountains (northeast of Tucson) are named after him. He married Hannah Maria (Frye) DeLong (b.1846 - d. 1914) on June 1, 1893. Mrs. DeLong was a friend of Sharlot M. Hall’s, to whom she left money and furniture in her will.
