Description

Edwin "E. D." Dunham Wyckoff and Jesse,or Jessie (Evans) Wyckoff (b. 1869 – d. 1954). Mr. Wyckoff served as pastor of the Congregational Church in Prescott from 1888 to 1890. Then he was recalled in 1897, serving to 1900. He also organized Prescott's first musical club, later known as the Wyckoff Club. He devoted his life to church organ and choir work, private lessons and composition. They had four children; Helen, Ruth, James, and Edwin Morgan Wyckoff. Jessie was the sister of Rebecca (Evans) Buffum, Mary Louise (Evans) Bashford and Virginia (Evans) Sewell. The Evans’ were an early Prescott family.
