Description

Doctor J. Miller (b. Unknown – d. 1901) was originally from Kansas City, Missouri. He served as surgeon at Fort Whipple, Company B, 8th Calvary in 1868. He was once the Superintendent of Insane Asylum in Phoenix, Arizona and as the head of Archeological Society did the first repair work on Montezuma Castle with Fred Williams of Prescott, Arizona. He died suddenly on the train at Flagstaff, Arizona while on his way to Moqui by way of Gallup, New Mexico.
