Katherine "Kitty" L. Cummings (b.1865 - d. unknown) was born presumably in Oakland, California. She married Sidney J. Cook (b. 1863 - d. unknown) in Prescott, Arizona on September 8, 1887. Sidney Cook was the son of Yavapai County representative J.D. Cook. (At that time "Sid Cook" was a member of the Dudes Hose Company in Prescott).
Kitty and Sidney lived in Prescott through at least 1892, which is the last year that "S.J. Cook" appeared in the Yavapai County Great Register. By 1900 (according to the Federal Census), Sidney and Kitty were living in Salina, Boulder County, Colorado, where he worked as a Hotel Keeper and he was a Milling Engineer.
