Description

Partheny H. Hance (b.1855 - d.1916) was born on February 12, 1855 in Talledega County, Alabama. Her father, Joseph Rutledge, was born in Virginia and her mother, Melissa McKay, was born in South Carolina.

Partheny married George W. Hance on April 2, 1878 in Verde Valley, Arizona.

They had three daughters and one son.

Partheny died of tuberculosis in Yuma, Arizona.

Handwriting on the photograph reads: "Mrs. George Hance. Parthenia Rutledge Hance".

Burial at the Masonic Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
