In this photograph, Dr. Robert Robinson is shown in a formal studio portrait with his second wife, Frances (Darby) Robinson, and their oldest daughter, Beryl Robinson. 

Dr. Robert Kellen (or Killin) Robinson (b. 1840 - d. 1891) was born September 18, 1840 in Ohio and died September 8, 1891 in Indiana. His first wife, Isabel Jane "Jennie" Vandervort, died in 1876. Dr. Robinson had two children who survived to adulthood from this marriage.  Three years after Jennie's death, on September 18, 1879 in Miami, Indiana, he married his second wife, Florence "Frances" Loretta (Darby) Robinson.  Dr Robinson and Frances relocated to Prescott, Arizona in 1882, where he practiced medicine for nine (9) years. In 1887, he was appointed county physician of Yavapai County by the Board of Supervisors.  Frances' sister was Flora (Darby) Howard of Prescott and was married to Judge John Howard.  Therefore, John Howard was Dr. Robinison's brother-in-law.

In 1891, Dr. Robinson health was not doing well and the decision was made for the family to leave Prescott to reside in Indiana where he died on September 9, 1891.  Later, Frances married Alonzo Kendrick on June 19, 1894 in Prescott, Arizona Territory.  At some point Frances and Beryl moved with Alonzo to California.  Frances died on July 31, 1921 in Alameda County California.

Beryl D. Robinson was born August 9, 1880 in Indiana. In March, 1899, Beryl is listed in a newspaper article as being the new assistant in the Sunset telephone office in Phoenix, Arizona. Beryl married H.C. Freeman and died August 14, 1972 in Oakland, California.
