Description

Portrait of Levi Bashford (b. 1813 - d. 1899). Born in New York State, he arrived in Prescott in 1864 as a collector of internal revenue. A pioneer merchant in Prescott, he was the founder of the Bashford-Burmister store. Levi retired in 1886 and died in Los Angeles on March 29, 1899.
