Description

Caroline Elizabeth (Stephens) Weaver (b. January 30, 1849; d. October 6, 1915), was born in Athens, Missouri. She was the daughter of Nancy A. Bell and Varney A. Stephens. In 1864, her father brought his family to Arizona Territory, was joint owner of the Kelly-Stephens Store in Prescott.

Caroline married Benjamin Henry Weaver (1837 - d. 1920), one of the owners of the Arizona Miner newspaper, on July 8, 1869. They had 6 children: Cora Elizabeth (b. 1869 - d. 1934), Georgia Myrtie (b. 1871 - 1955), Benjamin V. (b. 1873 - d. 1931), Josephine Edith (b. 1877), Pearl Ivy (b. 1879) & Dotty (b. 1884 - d. 1885).
