Description

Herbert Elmer Wood (b. 1881 – d. 1953) was the son of Ada V. (Douglas) Wood (b. 1859 - d. 1918), also known as Ada May Douglas, and William Wood, who married in Yavapai County, Arizona in 1877. Herbert was born in Williamson Valley, Arizona on August 9, 1881 and died in the Arizona Pioneers Home on March 7, 1953. His siblings were Lanore "Nora" (b. 1878 - d. 1959), who married Freeman Crosby and later lived in Taft, California; and James Wilber (b. 1884 - d. 1953).

Herbert  married Cecil Mae “Bunnie” Wood (b. 1895 – d. 1964). They lived in Williams. She was living in Prescott while he was in the Pioneers’ Home, but apparently moved back to Williams after he died.
