Description

Coyotes in an enclosure at the zoo.
 
The Murphy Park Zoo, which is no longer in existence, was donated to the city of Prescott on December 25, 1909. It was constructed by Frank M. Murphy, a local banker, mining magnate, and entrepreneur. The Murphy Park Zoo and its well-made enclosures contained 200 acres of natural beauty.
