Ella Childs married Alpheus McCann (b. 1837 - d. October 27, 1897) in Tucson, Arizona on March 28, 1879. He owned the Fortuna Mine and they may have lived in Mayer, Arizona. He was a Civil War veteran (Company H, 1st regiment, Ohio Infantry) and was interred at Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
