Lois Elizabeth Poe (b. June 17, 1903 – d. July 24, 1945) was born in Prescott. Her father was Harmon Lamar Poe (b. 1877 – d. 1964) and her mother was Clara Vera Elizabeth (Wadel) Poe (b. 1880 – d. 1955).
Lois and her brother Harold (b. 1905) were juniors at Prescott High School in 1921, but did not appear in the 1922 yearbook. Younger sisters Fay (b. 1907) was a freshman in 1921 and Inez (born in Temple, Texas) was a Senior in 1920.
Lois went to Tempe Normal Teachers' College and taught there. On July 24, 1945 she died of fibroids in Phoenix, Arizona.
