This motor-powered cable ferry was facing its last days when this photo was taken. Plans were under way for a bridge to link Arizona and California. The ferryman leaning on the guard rail is Del Marion. In the Model-T touring car are George Hagely and John Roberts, former deputy sheriff. Others are unidentified. This photo was taken on the Arizona side of the Colorado River. The clipping from Yavapai Magazine.
