Maier Dam and Reservoir, also known as Miller Creek Dam, Miller Valley, Arizona. The Maier Dam and Reservoir was built in the mid-1880s by Martin Maier, a German immigrant, for the purpose of collecting water for the making of ice. The dam was located near McCormick Street and Miller Creek in Miller Valley. The reservoir was later acquired by the City of Prescott to be included into the water source.
