Pete Mackin's Saloon and Stage Stop at Groom Creek, a rural area south of Prescott.
Groom Creek was named after Robert Groom, a prominent engineer and surveyor of Prescott. Most of the people in Groom Creek were miners and ranchers.
Entertainment on a Saturday could find dancing at the Miners Hall or drinking at the Halfway House and Saloon (also known as Mackin's Saloon and Stage Station).
