Execution of Hilario Hidalgo and Francisco Renteria on the Courthouse Plaza in Prescott, Arizona. These were the last hangings on the plaza. Priest kneeling on far right of the condemned is Father Alfred Quetu, the builder of Sacred Heart Church in Prescott.
Hildalgo and Renteria were executed for the murders of Charlie Goddard and Frank Cox on Goddard's ranch near the Auga Fria River.
