William "Will" Coles Bashford (b. 1853 - d. 1915) was one of the seven children of Coles Bashford, a prominent Prescott businessman and politician. He married Mary Louise Evans. In 1874, William, along with Robert H. Burmister, became partners in the store, which was then known as L. Bashford and Company. When Levi Bashford retired in 1886, the business became known as the Bashford-Burmister Store.
