Description

This is a photo of the old Martinez graveyard that was located next to Date Creek. However, during a major flood, this graveyard was washed away. Martinez was a busy mining town during it’s heyday, but later became Congress Junction, Arizona. Written on the back it says, "I think this will go with the Boot Hill poem, if you happen to want a larger picture. It is the old Martinez grave yard - now washed away - keep this print for me - as I cannot replace it. S.M.H."
