Panoramic view of Prescott Schools Superintendent, Mr. S.H. Martin, performing the Red Cross Knighting Ceremony with school principal Ms. Verle Beaver at Lincoln Elementary School in Prescott, Arizona. The Knights of the Guild, a fraternal organization, instituted a knighting ceremony for honor students at elementary and middle schools.

Lincoln School was built in 1908-1909 on Park Avenue. The school is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
