Description

Groom Creek School and 1938 graduates. From left to right; Bob, Dora, and Bill Cody. 

Built in 1902, the schoolhouse served about 10-15 children in the early 1900s. The building was an active school until 1952. It is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is used for administrative and training purposes by the Prescott National Forest.
