Jefferson School, on the corner of Leroux and Marina Streets in Prescott, Arizona, was closed in 1938, became the Prescott Community Hospital in 1943, and then the home of the Yavapai County Flood Control Office in 1964 (after Yavapai Regional Medial Center opened). Dr. Florence Yount headed the drive to find space and needed medical supplies for the Prescott Community Hospital.
