A view of Gurley Street and the Diana Saloon (left in image) in Prescott, Arizona with Thumb Butte in the far background. There is a hand written note on the side margin of the photo that states, " Prescott in the Summer."
The Diana Saloon was located on Whiskey Row and opened in September 1868 at the corner of Montezuma and Gurley Streets, where the Hotel St. Michael now stands. The saloon was one of many buildings burned in Prescott when a fire ravaged Montezuma Street on July 4, 1883.
