Sarah "Sally" Ann Shivers (b. 1859 - d. 1934) was born in Schell City, Missouri, on June 10, 1859, and moved to Chino Valley, Arizona in 1863 with her parents, David Wesley (b. 1826 - d. 1901) and Sara Ann (Roberts) Shivers (b. 1830 - d. 1898).
In Chino Valley on November 17, 1875, Sally married John Lloyd Fisher, and they had two daughters, Harriet (Fisher) Tritle Ainsworth and Olive Fisher (1890). They also adopted a niece, Ethel, and reared her as their own.
She was "always an Episcopalian," and president of St. Mary's Guild of St. Luke's Church. Sarah was a member of the Prescott Library Board, the Monday Club, the Order of the Eastern Star, and President of the Yavapai County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Mayor Morris Goldwater was a boarder at the Fisher home at 240 S. Cortez Street. John Fisher died in 1895, and, on September 19, 1906, Sally married Morris Goldwater in Los Angeles.

Sally died on August 19, 1934, in Prescott and was buried in the Masonic Cemetery.
