“The Verde Combination Group was located in close proximity to Jerome, a town in Arizona. This site holds significant historical importance as it falls within the Jerome-Verde Mining District, which is now a part of the Coconino National Forest. Operating mainly underground, the Verde Combination Group was involved in mining activities. Geologically, the area is characterized by the Mexican Highland, which is part of the Intermontane Plateaus. These highlands contribute to the overall geomorphology of the surrounding region.”
