Description

Charles Clarence Keeler (b.1859 - d.1943) was born on April 13, 1859 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was the son of Eli Keeler, born in Indiana (date unknown) and Susana Bates, born in Indiana (date unknown).

Charlie married Rilla Wilson on August 4, 1903 in Prescott, Arizona. They had one son, Charles H. Keeler.

Charlie served as Sheriff of Yavapai County, Arizona from 1912-1915. Years later in the US Census' his occupation was listed as a farmer.

Handwriting on photograph reads: "Charlie Keefer, Sheriff of Yavapai County".

He died on June 5, 1943 in Sutherland, Utah and was buried at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
