Carroll Wigington Davis (b. 1881 - d. 1966) was born on September 27, 1881/died May 17, 1966. His parents were John T Davis, born in Missouri, and Ella Hyde, born in New York. His spouse was Kathryn B. Miller.
Carroll was known as C. W. "Shorty" Davis until he married Kahryn in 1916. He was the owner of the Anvil Rock Ranch, which became part of the Hudspeth Sheep Company, when sheep were first introduced into Mohave County. Before moving to Phoenix in 1940, Davis owned ranches in the Seligman area, including the Double O Ranch.
Mr. Davis was a life member of the Masonic organizations Prescott Chaper 2, Royal Arch Masons, Hiram Council, Ivanhoe Commandry, Knights Templar, El Zaribah Shrine, Tucson Consistory, Phoenix Hiram Club, and Elks Lodge 498.
Cremated at Greenwood Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona
