Mary Elizabeth (Francisco) Averyt Flumerfelt (b. 1872 - d. 1958) was born on November 22, 1872 in Lyons, New York. In 1891, Mary traveled west with the Bashford family and lived with them in Prescott until her marriage to Alfred Wheeler Averyt in July of 1895. They had two children. Alfred died in October 1902 of an accident. In 1907, Mary married Elijah Jenkins Flumerfelt, a cotton farmer and grocer and had two more children. Mary moved to Whittier, California in the early 1940s. She died on February 25, 1958 and is buried in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
