A cover (envelope) with a corner card picturing the Hotel Congress.
The hotel was previously known as the Williams House. Located on the corner of Gurley and Marina Streets, the Congress Hotel was built by Fred W. Williams in 1874 and was a predecessor of the Hassayampa Hotel. The hotel was renamed the Congress House until 1902, when it became known as the Hotel Congress. The Congress Hotel burned down in May 1924.
