Description

Olsen Children; Walter George and Anna Ruth.

George and Anna were the children of George Olsen, born in Denmark in 1847, and Amanda Cyrilla (Payne) Clendenning Olsen, born in Missouri in 1856. Amanda's first husband was James Clendenning whom she married on April 27, 1873 in Bourbon, Kansas. They had a daughter, Lillie (Clendenning) Woodis, born in 1874 and a son, Charles Clendenning, born in 1885. Amanda married George Olsen on November 26, 1888 in Agua Fria, Yavapai County, Arizona. George was a gold miner.

Walter George Olsen (b.1894 - d.1971) was born on November 15, 1894 in Prescott, Arizona. He married Hazel (Ball) Olsen. They had two daughter, Emma and Cyrilla.

His occupations were as a mill worker at a lumber company and at the American Brake Shoe and Foundry.

Walter died on October 19, 1971 in Coos Bay, Oregon. He was buried there in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Anna Mary Ruth (Olsen) Mock (b.1889 - d.1965) was born on September 20, 1889 in Prescott, Arizona. 

Anna, going by "Ruth" married Major President Mock. They had two children.

Anna died on August 13, 1965 in Drumright, Oklahoma and was buried there in Drumright North Cemetery.
