Description

Edward Laughlin Wright (b.1839 - d.1910) was born in Antrim County, Ireland in 1839. He was the son of William Wright, born in Antrim County, Ireland in 1791, and Eliza (Laughlin) Wright, born in Antrim County, Ireland in 1798.

Ed married Mary Byrne in Prescott, Arizona Territory on March 12, 1878. They had one son, William, born in 1882 in Arizona. Ed was a stock raiser in Yavapai, Arizona. 

Ed married Mary Burnes on July 6, 1881 in Prescott (same as Mary Byrne?).

In 1896, he was registered as a voter in Alameda, California. The 1900 Census in Honolulu, Hawaii Territory lists him as a resident. By 1906, Ed was back in Arizona in Pima County.

Handwriting on photograph reads: "Ed Wright, standing, Hugh- I remember them looking just like this when they called for my aunts".

Ed died on April 5, 1910 from tuberculosis in Tucson, Arizona. He was laid to rest at the Holy Hope Cemetery and Mausoleum in Tucson. Information found which states he died in Los Angeles, California on April 5, 1910.

Could not find information on Hugh Wright.
