Gus Schrapla (b.1869 - d.1957) was born in Germany, exact date unknown. Names of parents unknown.
Gus was a mining engineer. Records indicate he lived in Arizona for several years, starting approximately in 1904. His occupation took him throughout the territory, and then state of Arizona. He was employed at the Clara Gold and Copper Company in Bill Williams Fork mountains in 1908 and was working for the United Verde Copper Mine in 1920. . He was briefly at a mining camp in Rhyolite, Nevada in 1906. Gus was an engineer at Prescott, Arizona's Del Rio pumping station in 1912.
Census records show Gus was married.
Handwriting on photograph reads: "Gus Schrapla".
Gus died on October 29, 1957 in Prescott. He was buried there at Mountain View Cemetery.
