Portrait of Juan Leivas, the winner of the steer roping and tying contest at the Cowboy Tournament in July 1888 in Prescott. Leivas was named the "Best Cowboy" and awarded a sterling silver trophy, a bridle, spurs, and a saddle as prizes. In 1924, the Cowboy Tournament was renamed the Prescott Rodeo and billed as the oldest continuous rodeo in the world.
