Chris Allen Totten (b.1880 - d.1947) was born in Owensboro, Kentucky in 1880. He was the son of John F. Totten, born in 1856, location unknown, and Elizabeth (Crabtree) Totten, born in 1857 in Kentucky.
Chris married Madie Martin. They had no children.
Chris was a builder and was active for several years in Arizona's building industry. He was a resident of Arizona since 1916. Chris lived in Prescott for many years before going to Phoenix in 1931 to serve with the Lumber Dealers Association and he held executive positions with the NRA. He was a member of the state board of architectural examiners and the Phoenix housing authority. At the time of his death, he was the secretary-manager of the Arizona Lumber Dealers Association.

Chirs died on July 3, 1947 in Phoenix. He was buried in Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
