Sam Webb (b.1853 - d.1920) was born Samuel Fleming Webb on October 13, 1853 in California. He was the son of George W. Webb, born in Georgia in 1825, and Jane (Hutcheson) Webb, born in Tennessee in 1825.
Sam was recorded on the 1860 U.S. Census and the 1875 voter registry in California.
He was recorded on the U.S. Censuses in Arizona starting in 1880. In 1880, his occupation was listed as stock raiser. The 1910 census states he was a dairy farmer. His occupation on the 1920 census was county treasurer.
He married Mary Jane Miller and they had six children. All were born in Arizona.
Handwriting on photograph reads: "Mr. Sam F. Webb, January 26, 1910, Phoenix, Arizona."
Sam died in Phoenix, Arizona on November 6, 1920. He was buried in Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
